We sensed the emptiness of our house in 1992 and decided to move into a condominium that demanded less care and gave us the freedom to travel without worry. Our condominium building, called the PIER, was built on the Elizabeth River and surrounded by water that leads to the Atlantic Ocean. We enjoyed the view very much.
