Oklahoma gave Frank and Mark their first opportunity to submit their science projects to the international science fair, in which the Oklahoma local chapter held a paid membership. When we lived in New York, they were unable to compete because that local chapter was not a paid member. Frank’s project won first prize in mathematics, and Mark’s project won third prize in physics.
