Searching Wang Family Roots
王氏家族尋根
In 2002, Leon initiated a search of the Wang family’s roots with his siblings and relatives, a total of 11 people. Our first stop was Hong Kong, and then we visited Leon’s home town, Dongguan. Afterward we flew to Beijing and traveled by train to Tai-yuan in Shanxi province along the Yellow River. We visited the renowned Wang Family Compound, second only to the imperial palace in Beijing, and finally reached a nearby temple that has a statue of a prince who is considered to be one of our forefathers.
2002年汝樑發起與他的兄弟姐妹和親戚共11人前往中國尋根.我們的第一站是在香港.然後是汝樑家鄉廣東省東莞縣厚街鄉. 再由廣州飛往北京坐火車到黃河流域的山西太原. 我們參觀了著名的王家大院, 謹次於北京的紫禁城. 終於到了附近的一座寺廟, 廟裡有王子像視為王家的祖先輩之一. .
