Combining my knowledge of computers and Leon’s expertise in earthquake engineering as well as the specialties of other faculty, Leon submitted a proposal and received a research grant from the U.S. Geological Survey. I again joined Leon to do the research project, this time at Old Dominion University. For the third time we were in the same school.
